Summary of Ride/Event/Special Comments: Beautiful ride starting close to East gate of Zion from Mt Carmel Junction.
Not recommended for 50 inch machines. Some off camber and rocky hill areas with some small shelves. Bring a lunch as it will take almost an hour to get to the trail head. Trails are sand and rocks, through juniper and cedar trees, going down a beautiful canyon to the virgin river. Short walk down to some Indian Petroglyphs next to the river. You can look across to Barracks overlook from the river. Lunch by the river and then a side trail off to the East where you will be looking at the East side of Zion Park, then back to trailhead.
If you decide to go back through Zion it will cost you $15 extra to take your trailer through the tunnel in Zion.
