| We have been working with Josh Nielson from Sunrise Outfitting – Scenic Adventures (SO-SA), we have set October 18 &19, 2024 as the dates for our Club Ride in Blanding. We need to limit our group to 11 machines + 1 guide to adhere to BLM permit limits of 12 machines per ride. We will do 2 different trails, #1 Arch Canyon and #2 Hotel Rock, one ride each day. Trails are estimated @ 50 miles and can take 6 to 8 hours to ride. All rides will leave from the SO-SA office in Blanding, no trailering to trail heads required. If we have enough member interest, we can add a second group of 11 machines with a second guide and alternate trails with group 1 each day. Cost: For 2 days of riding the cost will be $100 per machine that includes guide & taxes. They are giving us a special rate for our group. Each group can determine, on their own, if gratuity is warranted and the amount. #1 Arch Canyon is a trail that is currently on the BLM List for closure in Bears Ears. This may be our last opportunity to ride this trail with many arch formations if it isn’t closed prior to our trip. #2 Hotel Rock is their most Technical Ride that includes Anasazi Ruins. |
